Salt Tongue

€75

Eating is not only a necessary act of survival, but also a social ritual, a way of dividing and sharing. Inspired by this ritual and the ancestral tools created with available materials such as stone and wood, this object is a contemporary reinterpretation of the spoon with a more rustic and square design mixed with the shape of the spoon used to measure condiments. It encourages direct touch between object and food and invites you to explore the gesture of picking up, measuring and tasting, combining experimental functionality and tactile poetry.

A hybrid object between a spoon and a fork with elongated shape and flattened tip, this object resembles a spice spoon or a sculptural fork. Also can be used hung on the body in various ways.
