“Raiz” proposes a new look at the act of eating as a gesture of nourishment, care and
reconnection with the origin, where the act of serving at the table becomes a ritual.
This piece invites reflection. A tribute to the sacred feminine, to ancestry and to the body
that generates and transforms. The soft curves recall the movement of the sea and the
fluidity of nature.
At the top of the piece, three sculpted vulvas represent the phases of the female cycle:
creation, transformation and renewal. Small flowers sprout from each one, suggesting the
vital force and deep connection between the female body and the earth.
