MYCELIUMMILLENNIUM imagines an era in which biological resources - mycelium*, are used to grow objects for everyday rituals. *Mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus, a microscopic mass of white threads of fungi. The project examines ways of manufacturing with nature itself, merging Biofabrication - as a method of learning from nature, and Craft - embodying antique symbols and forms that place the objects in a longer material history.
