A hammered and forged brass spoon whose chain and reticulated handles splay on either side horizontally.

The wearer places their index fingers into the rings, creating tension by pulling both hands away from one another; with this motion, the spoon is lifted and hovers above a vessel of fluid edibles. Closing their hands gently, they release the tension, allowing the spoon head to dip into the liquid, it seeps into the concave moon. The loose chains become taut as the wearer pulls their hands in either direction. The head of the spoon and the wearer shift closer towards one another until they meet and can commit the act of consumption.

The structure of the spoon necessitates that the wearer create a circular boundary. Head to shoulder, shoulder to hand, hand to spoon, and finally back to head. Should the wearer wish to feed another, that boundary remains the same. The breadth of corporal space ebbs and flows like breath but never exceeds the point of tension.
