Tatiana Ferreira
Ceramic Design
Tatiana Ferreira is currently based in Lisbon where she develops most of her projects. She has developed and created projects of the most varied natures, from ceramics to illustration, passing through a Self-Editing course at Associação Oficina do Cego, where she made her first illustrated Artist book Conclusões de Segunda.
She collaborated with the educational service of Fundação Museu Berardo and is currently developing her community project - A_LOJA - located in an old jewellery shop in the Ajuda neighbourhood, Lisbon, where she holds workshops and develops her work. Her relationship with ceramics dates to high school, where she attended a ceramic course. After a few years she kept ceramics on standby and in the last year, she created her own project brand Cerâmica Pareidólia, where she develops utilitarian and decorative pieces. Pareidolia ceramic pieces are all designed and made manually with national pastes where the red clay and the colourful and contrasting pieces are the main highlight. The game of colours, irregular shapes and textures give body to pieces that are sensorial experiences.
