Graça Paz, a visual artist born in Porto in 1967, currently lives and works in rural north Portugal.

Greatly influenced by the musical environment in which she grew up, her mostly abstract geometric work bridged classical music with how emotionally, consciously or unconsciously it expresses itself from the inside out in a context that contains no words.

A scholar of emotional psychology, one places oneself and their work at the centre of learning especially through watercolours in the search for a balance between rigidity and fluidity.
