Caroline Vetsmany

Caroline Vetsmany is a French illustrator who’s been based in Lisbon since 2016. You can recognise her quirky style either in her illustrations on paper or in ceramics.

Initiating her work around women in particular, she started painting and carving out socially constructed inadequacies of women from the clay. From the forced smiles of the synchronised swimming to hair-raising street styles of fashion weeks, through selfies of geishas and suggestive poses of IG influencers, Caroline’s work has always been based around the liberal, modern vision of women.
